Free printable dinosaur coloring pages

A friendly set of dinosaurs — no teeth-baring, no scary scenes. There is a long-necked brachiosaurus to fill in, a stegosaurus with rows of plates to pattern, and a nest of eggs to trace. Print one for a rainy afternoon or run off a dozen for a dinosaur-themed birthday table.

Choose a dinosaur page by activity

For a first try, start with the Friendly T-Rex, hatchling, or long-neck brachiosaurus: each has broad areas and few small details. Children ready for more can use the Stegosaurus plates to make a repeating pattern or color the forest Triceratops in layers.

For pencil practice, choose the dashed footprints or egg nest before coloring them. The pterodactyl's fine wing lines print best at full size. Pick a tracing sheet for pencil control, a simple outline for a short session, or a poster for a longer activity.
