How to color the Dinosaur egg nest coloring page
Four ovals in a row are one of the few tracing shapes a child will repeat willingly, because each one confirms the last: by the fourth egg the curve is noticeably smoother than the first. Work the eggs before the twigs — the twigs are short broken strokes and they teach a different movement, so mixing the two loses the benefit of both. Once traced, the nest can be coloured normally, and the twigs are the place to let a scribble be a scribble.
