Terms of Service

What the service does

ColoriZoo turns a photo you upload or a written idea you submit into a black-and-white line drawing you can print and color in. It also offers a library of ready-made printable pages, free to anyone, at our printables library.

Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and explains how we handle information.

You do not need an account. Making pages from your photos or descriptions is free up to a shared limit each day; the count resets at midnight UTC. We may change that limit.

The site is for adults. You must be at least 18, or the minimum age required where you live, whichever is higher.

What you may submit

You are responsible for the photos and descriptions you send us. By submitting either you confirm that:

• you created it, or you otherwise hold the rights needed to use it;
• everyone recognizable in a photo consents to your using it this way — and if a child appears, you are that child's parent or guardian, or you have the permission of the person who is;
• it is lawful, original or properly licensed, and does not request or contain sexual content, graphic violence, personal information, or material meant to harass or demean anyone.

We may refuse or remove anything that breaks these rules, and stop serving requests that keep breaking them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Nexalify Limited, its affiliates, officers, employees and contractors against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising from content that breaks these promises, or from your unlawful or intentional misuse of the service. We may control the defence or settlement of a covered claim, and you will reasonably cooperate. We will not settle in a way that admits wrongdoing by you or imposes a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent, which you must not unreasonably withhold.

Who owns what

Your photo or description stays yours. By submitting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, modify and process it only as necessary to operate the service, make and deliver your pages, respond to your requests, enforce these terms and comply with law. We may sublicense those rights to service providers only so they can act on our behalf. This licence ends when the material is removed, except where law requires otherwise. The Privacy Policy explains the processing in more detail.

To the extent permitted by law, we assign to you any rights we may have in the pages generated for you. AI output may not qualify for copyright and may be similar or identical to output made for someone else. We do not promise that an output is unique, non-infringing or suitable for commercial use; you are responsible for deciding whether and how you may use it.

The ready-made pages in our printables library are free for personal, classroom and other non-commercial use. Please do not resell them, and do not redistribute the files as though they were your own work.

The site itself — its name, its look, its words and its code — stays ours. If you send feedback, you give us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or payment to you.

Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use ColoriZoo for lawful personal, classroom or internal business purposes. We reserve every right not expressly granted to you.

What we do not promise

Some of the work is done by third-party model providers acting on our behalf. If one of them is unavailable, or changes what it will accept, the service can be affected in ways we do not control.

Pages are drawn by AI models. The same photo or description can produce different results on different attempts. Clear photos and simple visual descriptions generally work better, but generated pages may omit, alter or invent details and may not render requested lettering accurately. We cannot promise any particular result. You must review every output before printing, sharing or showing it to a child.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available. We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

We may change usage limits or modify, suspend or withdraw any part of the service, with notice where law requires. ColoriZoo is not a backup service and we do not promise uninterrupted access to generated pages or result links, so you should download and keep any page you want to use.

Acceptable use

You must not use ColoriZoo to:

• break the law or another person's rights, invade privacy, exploit children, harass or impersonate anyone, or create deceptive or abusive material;
• introduce malware, probe or test security, reverse engineer the service, interfere with its operation, or access systems or data without authority;
• automate uploads, scrape or repackage the printables library in bulk, resell access to the service, or bypass usage limits or protective measures.

We may block a request, remove material, restrict or suspend access, preserve relevant evidence or report conduct to authorities when we reasonably believe this is necessary. We are not obliged to monitor every submission or use of the service.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Beyond that, and so far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss; lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill; the cost of a replacement service; or loss arising from an output, inability to use the service, a third-party provider, or access through a result link. These limits apply under any legal theory, even if we were told a loss was possible. Our total liability to you — for any one claim and for all claims taken together, and whether or not you have paid us anything — is limited to US$100. Our affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and service providers may also rely on this section.

Ending your use

You can stop using ColoriZoo whenever you like — there is no account to close. If you want your files removed, the Privacy Policy explains how to ask.

We may immediately refuse requests, restrict, suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms, created security or legal risk, exposed us or another person to liability, or if law or a service provider requires us to act. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for doing so. Provisions that by their nature should survive will continue after access ends.

Governing law

ColoriZoo is operated by Nexalify Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, at Room D07, 8/F, Kai Tak Factory Building, No. 99 King Fuk Street, San Po Kong, Hong Kong.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction — subject to the paragraph below.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, nothing above deprives you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Before starting a formal claim, each party should first try in good faith to resolve it by contacting the other. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive or protective relief.

General terms

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about ColoriZoo and replace earlier statements about the service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours in connection with a merger, reorganisation, sale of assets or by operation of law.

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including failures of networks, hosting, model providers, utilities, labour, government action, disasters or cyberattacks.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security or our business. We will update this page and its date, and give any additional notice required by law. Changes apply from the stated date; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using ColoriZoo.
