Ankylosaurus with club tail coloring page
- Dinosaurs
- Classroom Poster
- Free
An ankylosaurus armored in rows of plates from neck to tail, ending in a heavy club. The armor is drawn as separate shapes rather than texture, so it can be colored plate by plate without any shading.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 32 numbered areas and a key of 6 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Ankylosaurus with club tail coloring page
This is the page for a child who likes finishing things. Each armour plate is a closed shape, so the work breaks into dozens of small completed jobs rather than one long one, and there is no shading to attempt. Keep the plates within two or three related colours — browns, or greys — because a rainbow back turns armour into decoration and loses the point of it. Leave the club until last and give it the darkest colour on the page.
