A boxy tin robot with an antenna, a dial on its chest and hinged arms. Squares and rectangles throughout, so it is easy to color in blocks — and easy to make each panel a different shade.

How to color the Toy robot coloring page

Pick one colour and use three shades of it across the panels — a light front, a mid side, a dark shoulder. Done that way the robot looks like pressed metal, which is what a tin toy is. A rainbow robot looks like plastic, and that is a different toy altogether. The dial on the chest is the one place for a second colour entirely: it is glass with something behind it, so it can glow while everything else stays cool.
