Rag doll coloring page
- Toys
- Easy Coloring (age 5–7)

A cloth doll with yarn hair in two braids, a pinafore and stitched button eyes. Dress, apron, hair and shoes come to four separate areas, which is about right for a page that should not take all afternoon.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 23 numbered areas and a key of 6 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Rag doll coloring page
Cloth is the opportunity here: give the pinafore stripes and leave the dress plain, or the other way round, but not both patterned. Two fabrics on one doll is what a real sewn toy looks like; four patterns is a quilt. The button eyes stay dark and get done last, because they are the only two marks that decide whether the face is looking at anyone. The yarn braids want short strokes along their length, the same habit as the rocking horse.
