How to color the Jack-in-the-box coloring page
Give the coil one bright colour from top to bottom. It is a single piece of metal and colouring the loops separately breaks it into unrelated rings, which is the one way to lose the sense that something has just sprung out. The inside of the open lid can be a different colour from the outside — that small choice is what makes the box look like it has a lining, and it is the detail most children miss until it is pointed out.
