Spring baby birds coloring page
- Seasons
- Classroom Poster
- Free
Three baby birds in a nest with their beaks open, filling the page under an empty banner. The nest is drawn as a few long curved strokes, so it takes color quickly without much staying-inside-the-lines.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 34 numbered areas and a key of 5 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Spring baby birds coloring page
The insides of the three open beaks are the one place for a strong colour, and there is a reason: in many species the inside of a chick's mouth really is bright, because it is a signal to the parent about where to put the food. Colour them a clear pink or orange and leave everything else soft, and the page suddenly has a subject. The banner takes a name; the nest takes one brown and goes fast.
