How to color the Octopus with curly arms coloring page
Count the arms out loud before starting and again at the end — eight is the fact most children get wrong about an octopus, and counting them while colouring makes it stick better than being told. Change colour on every arm if there is appetite for it; the arms curl in different directions so neighbouring colours never sit in a straight line. The suckers are better dotted with a fine tip than coloured, and they are the last thing to do, not the first.
