Mushroom house coloring page
- Flowers & nature
- Classroom Poster
- Free
A toadstool with a spotted cap turned into a house, with a round door, two windows and a path leading up to it. Invented rather than botanical, and the spots are the best part.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 13 numbered areas and a key of 3 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Mushroom house coloring page
Nothing here is botanical, so nothing here can be wrong — say that first, because it removes the one thing that stops children colouring freely. The spots can be left white, coloured as windows, or turned into skylights, and all three are defensible. The path leads off the page towards something, and deciding what is at the other end is worth doing before the colouring rather than after: it tends to change what colour the door ends up.
