Autumn leaf pile coloring page
- Flowers & nature
- Tracing Practice
- Free
Nine fallen leaves of different shapes overlapping in a loose pile, all in dashed line with the veins dotted. Tracing the veins after the outlines gives the sheet a second, finer round.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 11 numbered areas and a key of 4 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Autumn leaf pile coloring page
Go outside first if the season allows, and bring back three or four real leaves to sit beside the sheet. Nine drawn shapes stop being nine shapes once one of them can be matched to something on the table. Trace all the outlines before starting on any veins — mixing the two rounds means the fine work gets attempted by a hand that is already tired, and the veins are what the sheet is really for.
