Sunflower in bloom coloring page
- Flowers & nature
- Easy Coloring (age 5–7)
- Free
A single sunflower head with a ring of broad petals, a seeded center and two leaves on the stem. The seed center is drawn as a hatched circle, so it can be scribbled in without ruining anything.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 20 numbered areas and a key of 3 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Sunflower in bloom coloring page
Use two yellows rather than one — a paler shade on the petals nearest the centre and a stronger one on the outer ring. Real sunflower petals are not all the same colour and the difference is what stops the head looking like a printed sticker. While the middle is being scribbled in, there is a fact worth handing over: those seeds grow in two sets of spirals, and if anyone counts them the numbers come out the same on every sunflower.
