Fire truck coloring page

- Easy Coloring (age 5–7)

A fire truck side-on with its ladder raised, a hose reel and four wheels. Big panels, obvious color, and a ladder made of straight lines that is oddly satisfying to fill in one rung at a time.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 16 numbered areas and a key of 4 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Fire truck coloring page
Red is the expected answer, and it is worth saying that plenty of modern fire engines are actually lime-yellow, because that colour is easier to see at night. A child who knows that gets to make a real choice instead of following a convention. Whichever way it goes, do the hose reel in a colour that is not the body — it is a separate object bolted on, and colouring it the same shade makes it disappear into the side panel.
