Number 10 with ten stars coloring page
- Numbers
- Easy Coloring (age 5–7)
- Free
A large hollow 10 with exactly ten stars arranged around it. Ten is the first two-digit number a child meets — coloring the 1 and the 0 in different colors is a quiet way to show that.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 11 numbered areas and a key of 6 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Number 10 with ten stars coloring page
Once the ten stars are coloured, cover part of them with a hand and ask how many are hidden. It is the same set of ten every time, so the answer changes only because the visible part does — which is the first version of subtraction most children meet, and it happens here without the word being used. Colouring the 1 and the 0 differently is worth doing before that, not after.
