Rooster crowing coloring page
- Farm animals
- Classroom Poster
- Free
A rooster on a fence post with its head back mid-crow, comb and wattle up and tail feathers arched over. Every tail feather is separate, which is why this one is a poster rather than an easy sheet.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 17 numbered areas and a key of 6 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Rooster crowing coloring page
Comb and wattle share one red and should be done together, then left alone — they are the only pure red on the page and they are what makes the bird read as a rooster rather than a hen. For the tail, take three colours and run them in the same order across every feather, so the arch stays organised. This is a page that looks best pinned up, because the crowing pose only makes sense at eye level or above.
