How to color the Horse by the fence coloring page

Three kinds of line, three different tools if they are to hand: a ruler-straight hand for the fence boards, short repeated strokes for the mane, one long sweep for the tail. Doing all three with the same movement is what makes a horse look like a cardboard cut-out. Start with the fence, because it is the only part with a wrong answer — boards that bend stop being wood — and finish with the tail, which is the part worth doing while the hand is still willing to commit.
