How to color the Farm cat on a haystack coloring page
One flat colour for the bale is the right call, but pick a yellow and press lightly rather than reaching for orange — straw that is too dark stops reading as straw and starts reading as a cushion. The cat can then be anything at all, since it is the only other thing on the page. The tail hanging down the side is the detail to keep clean: colour up to it from both directions rather than across it, and it stays a tail rather than a stripe on the bale.
