How to color the Lion cub coloring page
Reach for this one when a child has abandoned a few busy pages. The body is a single open shape, so progress shows after about a minute, and visible progress is usually what keeps them going. The side of an orange crayon covers the cub in a few passes; a brown pencil round the edge of the mane afterwards gives it depth. It is also a natural moment to mention that a cub's mane grows in slowly, which is why this one barely has one.
