Unicorn with braided mane coloring page
- Unicorns & fantasy
- Classroom Poster
- Free
A unicorn head and shoulders in profile with its mane worked into a long plait, each section outlined. The braid is the whole point here — running two shades down it in turn makes it look genuinely woven.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 18 numbered areas and a key of 6 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the Unicorn with braided mane coloring page
Everything on this page depends on one habit: take two shades of the same colour and alternate them section by section down the plait, never two the same next to each other. Done that way the braid looks genuinely woven, and it is the only place in the whole set where a simple rule produces something that looks difficult. Do the braid first, while patience is highest. The face and neck afterwards need only one flat colour to stay out of its way.
