New Year fireworks coloring page
- Holidays
- Classroom Poster
- Free
Three bursts of fireworks over simple rooftops, with an empty band for a year or a name. Each burst is drawn as separate rays, so the page works with one color per burst or one color per ray.
Color by number version
A color by number version of the same subject, with 11 numbered areas and a key of 2 crayon colors. Each number sits inside its area, never on a line, and the key prints beneath the picture on the same sheet — so it still prints in black and white.

How to color the New Year fireworks coloring page
One colour per burst is the calm version and one colour per ray is the ambitious one, and it is worth naming both before starting so the choice is made rather than drifted into. Either way the sky has to go dark first, in light layers, or the rays disappear as they are drawn. Write the actual year in the band — this is the one page in the whole library that dates itself, which is exactly why it is worth keeping.
